About Me

Welcome to Maggiano Takes Austin!  I'm a 20 something girl living in Austin Texas for the past 7 years, and just recently resigned from Dell Computers to work in Marketing for a local Medical IT Company off SoCo. I reside in north Austin with my boyfriend, Scott Owens, whom I've been completely head over heels for 4, almost 5 amazing years[June 2012]!

I am currently working in the Medical Software Industry/IT field doing Marketing and Sales, and also have been pursuing a degree at the Austin Community College. I am a child of God and believe all things are possible through Him. Scott & I enjoy live music, playing with our little furboy Huxley, and going on small trips to getaway [sometimes]!Among all these things, cooking is one of my favorite therapeutic ways to enjoy myself - and eat delicious food which will be the main focus of this blog... otherwise I hope you enjoy following us on our journey of love, laughter, struggles, great food, puppy fun, & adventures!

Here is my story of My Dad who passed away October 31, 2010 to Esophageal Cancer after being diagnosed for only 6 weeks, and my last 6 days with him.
