Homemade Pizza Rolls

Football season is my absolute favorite time of year! In preparation to watching last night's preseason game, I whipped up some yummy appetizers for dinner instead of a full meal to put us in the football mood!

Slightly Homemade Pizza Rolls

The reason why I call it "slightly" homemade, is because I definitely didn't make the yummy crescent rolls that made them so amazing, but I did put it all together ;)

Ingredients:
1st Batch: Pepperoni Rolls (with added Jalapenos for ours)
1 can of crescent rolls - Pillsbury has a garlic flavor: YUMMY (or you can really do homemade and make your own dough!) (yields 8 rolls) - I made 2 batches
1 cup marinara sauce
1 small pack of pepperonis
1 cup reduced fat mozzarella cheese (a guesstimate, but 1 cup should be enough to fill all rolls)

Extras:
I put pickled jalapenos as another topping in my pepperoni rolls

2nd Batch: BBQ Chicken Pizza Rolls
1 can of crescent rolls (yields 8)
1-2 boneless skinless chicken breasts cooked (I had some leftover chicken breasts) and chopped
1/2 cup bbq sauce
1/4 white onion chopped
1/2 cup reduced fat mozzarella cheese

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375* Pull apart crescent rolls and using a spoon, spread marinara sauce evenly across.

2. Top with pepperonis, cheese, and any topping of your choice (can't be too much they're kind of small).

3. Next, roll up the crescents trying to keep it all together ( this was a messy stage hehe )

4. When all together, place in oven for 8 minutes or until a golden brown color.

After that, enjoy!

On the side we had a few Buffalo Chicken Bites...
Yes, I dip already buffalo flavored chicken into buffalo cause I'm a freak and I LOVE IT! :)

These are such a fun party food and easy to make!  Great for FOOTBALL SEASON!

We are so glad to see Huxley loves football too :-P! It's too funny he stares at the TV like he's actually watching and understanding... so cute. Except when I go to take a picture, he is ready to turn around and show off for you guys... hehe
